Status Indicator 13 (Chime) flashes while the chime is sounding. When the
chime ends, Status Indicator 13 (Chime) lights and microphone broadcasting
can begin.
4. Terminate microphone broadcast.
Press the Talk key again to terminate the microphone broadcast. If the chime
function has been enabled, a chime tone (descending 4-note tone) sounds. In
this event, the chime tone can be heard from the IP-300RM unit’s built-in
speaker. Status Indicator 13 (Chime) flashes while the chime is sounding. When
the chime ends, Status Indicator 13 (Chime) lights. When the microphone
broadcast is finished, Status Indicator 14 (Microphone) and the status indicators
for all selected broadcasting destinations extinguish and the selection of
broadcasting destinations is terminated.
[External input broadcast]
1. Select broadcasting destinations.
If Function Keys 1 and 2 are pressed, the broadcasting destination
corresponding to each function key is selected and Status Indicators 1 and 2
light green. To cancel a selection, press its function key again. Cancelling the
selection extinguishes the corresponding status indicator. To deselect all
destinations, press Function Key 4 (clear broadcasting destinations).
2. Start external input broadcast.
If Function Key 8 (external input) is pressed, Status Indicator 8 (external input)
lights to indicate external input broadcasting can begin.
3. Terminate external input broadcast.
Pressing Function Key 8 (external input) terminates the external input broadcast.
When the external input broadcast is finished, Status Indicator 14 (microphone)
and the status indicator for the selected broadcasting destinations extinguish,
and the selection of broadcasting destinations is terminated.
[Emergency microphone broadcast]
1. Select broadcasting destinations.
If Function Keys 1 and 2 are pressed, the broadcasting destination
corresponding to each function key is selected and Status Indicators 1 and 2
light green. To cancel a selection, press its function key again. Cancelling the
selection extinguishes the corresponding status indicator. To deselect all
destinations, press Function Key 4 (clear broadcasting destinations).
2. Set whether to sound a chime or not.
If Function Key 13 (chime) is pressed, Status Indicator 13 lights to indicate that
the chime function is enabled.
3. Start emergency microphone broadcast.
When the Emergency key is pressed, the emergency indicator lights and the
emergency microphone broadcasting can begin. If the chime function has been
enabled, a chime tone (ascending 4-note tone) will also sound. In this event, the
chime tone can be heard from the IP-300RM unit’s built-in speaker. Status
Indicator 13 (Chime) flashes while the chime is sounding. When the chime ends,
Status Indicator 13 (Chime) lights and emergency microphone broadcasting can
begin.
