9. Functional Ground Terminal [SIGNAL GND]
Be sure to ground this terminal.
NOTE:
This terminal is not a safety ground.
10. DC Power Input Terminal [DC INPUT]
Connect the 24V DC power to this terminal.
11. AC Adapter Input Terminal [DC INPUT]
Connect the optional AD-246 AC Adapter to this terminal.
12. Control Output Terminals 1 – 16 [CONTROL OUTPUT]
These terminals are relay contact outputs (dielectric strength: 24V DC, control
current: 500 mA).
13. Audio Output Terminals 1 – 4 [AUDIO OUTPUT]
(0 dB, 10k
Ω,
balanced type)
Output line level audio signals.
H: Hot, C: Cold, E: Ground (shield)
14. Control Input Terminals 1 – 16 [CONTROL INPUT]
These are no-voltage make contact inputs (shorting current: 5mA or less, open-
circuit voltage: 24V).
15. Audio Input Terminals 1 – 4 [AUDIO INPUT]
(Terminals set to line level: 0 dB*; terminals set to microphone level: −60 dB*
,
2.2k
Ω,
balanced type)
Receive either microphone level or line level audio signals.
H: Hot, C: Cold, E: Ground (shield)
16. Phantom Power Supply ON/OFF Switches 1 – 4 [PHANTOM]
When supplying phantom power (+17V) to a component connected to the audio
input terminal (15), turn this switch ON after first setting the audio input level
selection switch (17) to ‘MIC.’ (Default setting: OFF)
17. Audio Input Level Selection Switch [LINE/MIC]
Set this switch to ‘MIC’ when a microphone is connected to the audio input
terminal, and to ‘LINE’ when other components are connected.
(Default setting: LINE)
18. Input Level Controls [INPUT VOLUME]
Used to adjust the audio input level.
Clockwise rotation increases the level and counter-clockwise rotation decreases
it.
19. Network Connection Port [LAN] (Ethernet RJ-45 jack)
Connects to a 100BASE-T-compatible network.
