ACQuire:SAVEFile:SAVEWfm
This command sets or queries the path and base fi le name used to automatically
save one or more waveforms at the completion of a StopAfter condition (when the
StopAfter action is set to SAVEWaveform).
This is equivalent to selecting Save All Waveforms in the Stop Action section of
the Acquisition Setup dialog box and entering a
fi le name.

Arguments
<QSTRING>
de fi nes the fi le location path and base fi le name (without the fi le
extension). Input the fi le path using the form <drive>/<dir>/<base fi lename>. The
<drive> and one or more <dir> arguments are optional. If you do not specify
a full path name (starting with a drive letter), th einstrument stores the
fi les at
C:\Users\<username>\TekScope\UI, where <username> is the user login name.
The <base fi lename> can be a Windows long fi le name, without an extension. Do
not use wild card characters.
The instrument automatically appends the timebase and channel number associated
with the saved waveform to the end of each base
fi le name, before the default
.wfm extension. For example, if the base fi le name is Dut123, and the instrument
is using the Main timebase, then the instrument saves the channel 1 waveform to
Dut123MainC1.wfm, the channel 2 waveform to Dut123MainC2.wfm, and so on.
There is no indexing to prevent overwriting of fi les. Files will be overwritten
unless the base fi le name is changed.
Examples
ACQUIRE:SAVEFILE:SAVEWFM "DutXyz"
sets the instrument to use the base
fi le name DutXyz to save waveform data after a StopAfter SAVEWfm condition
is met. As a full path name was not part of the command, the instrument will save
the waveform
fi les to C:\Users\<username>\TekScope\UI.
ACQUIRE:SAVEFILE:SAVEWFM?
might return
ACQUIRE:SAVEFILE:SAVEWFM
"DUT123"
, indicating that the instrument will use the base fi le name DUT123 to
save waveforms in the current directory when the StopAfter action is enabled. If
