NOTE.
If your FILEName argument does not include a fi le extension, the fi le
extension associated with the format set by the HARDCopy:FORMat command is
automatically appended and that image-
fi le format is used. You can change the
fi le format using the HARDCopy:FORMat command, sending it before you send
the HARDCopy:FILEName command.
If your FILEName argument does include a fi le extension, the image- fi le
associated with it is used instead. The fi le extension must be one associated with
one of the formats listed for the HARDCopy:FORMat command.

Arguments
<FILE PATH>
speci fi es the fi le to which the hardcopy is sent. This argument is a
quoted string that de fi nes the fi le name, path, and, optionally, the fi le format if
you include a fi le extension.
NOTE.
The speci fi ed fi lename must be enclosed with quotation marks and wild
card characters are illegal.
Examples
HARDCOPY:FILENAME "C:\MY DOCUMENTS\TEK"
immediately outputs a
hardcopy to the fi le TEK.<format>, where <format> is the image- fi le format set
by the HARDCopy:FORMat command, or by the optional fi lename extension.
HARDCOPY:FILENAME "C:\MY DOCUMENTS\TEK.PNG"
immediately outputs
a hardcopy to the fi le TEK.PNG, where PNG is image- fi le format set by the
fi lename extension included in the command argument.
HARDCopy:FORMat (No Query Form)
This command selects the image- fi le format used with the hardcopy commands.
Several image fi le formats are provided to support compatibility with
image-processing applications and ef fi cient utilization of disk capacity.
