High pitched feedback when TANDBERG FieldView Application and TANDBERG FieldView Device in close
proximity.
Cause
Solution
Audio feedback loop has been created.
Mute the TANDBERG FieldView Device microphone or lower
the TANDBERG FieldView Device speaker volume, or use a
headset
TANDBERG FieldView Device built-in microphone not working.
Cause
Solution
Microphone muted and icon is present.
Press
Microphone Mute
button to resume operation.
Low speaker volume at remote end TANDBERG
FieldView Application.
Increase TANDBERG FieldView Application speaker volume.
Sound muted at remote end TANDBERG FieldView
Application, Control Panel, or loudspeakers.
Enable sound at remote end PC.
Line-In is currently selected as audio source.
Switch from built-in line-in to microphone using
Configuration > Audio > SubjectAudioSource
.
TANDBERG FieldView Device built-in microphone appears intermittent.
Cause
Solution
TANDBERG FieldView Application user is listening
to Voice audio and sound source volume is below
minimum sound level threshold
Enable Subject Audio channel at TANDBERG FieldView
Application. There is no minimum sound level threshold with
Subject Audio.
TANDBERG FieldView Device headset not operating.
Cause
Solution
Headset plug not fully inserted into TANDBERG
FieldView Device.
Verify plug is fully inserted.
External audio input at line-in jack not audible.
Cause
Solution
Signal too low.
Requires input Line Level of about 1Vrms.
Line-in not selected.
Switch from built-in microphone to line-in using
Configuration
> Audio > SubjectAudioSource
.
Call reports Ringing but no response. It reports TANDBERG FieldView Application Call Failed or TANDBERG
FieldView Device Session Disconnected.
Cause
Solution
Wrong IP address for destination.
Check IP address is correct. Addresses can change if using DHCP.
Destination PC is turned off.
Turn on remote PC.
Destination TANDBERG FieldView Application is
not running.
If TANDBERG FieldView Application icon is not present in
Notification area (near XP clock) then start TANDBERG FieldView
Application.
