4.2.2 Serial interface — Real-time to Serial Port

In order to capture the data in a real-time environment your PC has to be
connected to TalkSwitch unit ID 1 with a serial cable.

1. Launch Hyper Terminal by clicking

Start -> Programs ->

Accessories -> Communications -> HyperTerminal

2. A window pops up prompting for a connection name. Enter

TalkSwitch,

then click
