REMOVING THE REAR WHEEL
Unscrew the nut (1) of the wheel axle (3) and extract
it. It is not necessary to loosen the chain tension-
ers (2); in this way, the chain tension will remain
unchanged after reassembly. Extract the complete
rear wheel, keeping the spacers located at the hub
sides.
To reassemble, reverse the above procedure re-
membering to insert the brake disc into the calliper.
Note*:
Do not operate the rear brake pedal when
the wheel has been removed; this causes the cal-
liper pistons to move outwards.
After removal, lay down the wheel with brake disc
on top.
After reassembly, depress the brake pedal until the
pads are against the brake disc.
TYRES
Care should be taken to keep the tyres properly in-
flated. See "Technical data" chart at the beginning
of the manual for correct tyre inflation pressure.
Replace the tyre if its wear exceeds reference val-
ues on the table below.
