Unlock passive steering axle with direct operation function
1.
Set the operating lever at the control
device of the tractor to floating position
such that both locking cylinders (1) unlock.
The passive steering axle can move freely
and follows the turning radius of the corner
during cornering.

WARNING
Risk of insufficient stability and tipping over of machine due to
incorrect use of the passive steering axle!
It is imperative to lock the passive steering axle:
•
at travelling speeds of more than 40 km/h,
•
before travelling over clamp silos,
•
on rough road tracks,
•
when traversing hills,
•
before carrying out reverse travels.
1.
Align the wheels of the passive steering
axle in a straight line by means of a short
forward travel of the tractor and the hitched
machine.
2.
Keep hold of the operating lever at the
control device of the tractor in "Lock"
position for at least 5 seconds until the
locking cylinders (1) lock the steering axle.
The passive steering axle is locked in
"Straight" position.
