5.12 Set tailgate
There are four setting options to set the tailgate in rape-tight manner.
In the upper part, the tailgate can be set at the hinge arms, in the lower part at the hooks.
Setting in the upper part
1.

Unscrew the four connecting screws (1).
2.

Use the adjusting screws (2) to adjust the
hinge arms.
3.

Retighten the connecting screws (1).
4.

Check whether the tailgate is tightly
closed.
The gate is rape-tight if there is no light
gap noticeable between gate and side
panel (upper part).

1.

Unscrew the four screws (3).
2.

Place the spacer plates (4).
72405297 spacer plate 1.25 mm
72405298 spacer plate 3.0 mm
3.

Retighten the screws (3).
4.

Check whether the tailgate is tightly
closed.
The gate is rape-tight if there is no light
gap noticeable between gate and side
panel (lower part).
