Options: start, stop, status, restart
Description: This command may be used with the above
listed options. The DNS service is used to translate
computer hostnames to IP addresses on the HDXchange
domain.
DHCP service
Command: sudo /etc/init.d/dhcpd
Options: start, stop, restart, status
Description: This command may be used with the above
listed options. The DHCP is used to dynamically assign IP
addresses to computers on the HDXchange domain.
Network interface
Command: sudo /etc/init.d/network
Options: start, stop, restart, status
Description: This command may be used with the above
listed options. This command can be used to restart
network interfaces, without having to restart the server.
MYSQL Service
Command: sudo /etc/init.d/mysql
Options: start, stop, restart
Description: This command may be used with the above
listed options. This command can be used to start, stop and
view the status of mysql service, used for the hdxchange
database.
AVI service
Command: sudo /etc/init.d/aviserver
Options: start, stop, restart, status
Description: This command may be used with the above
listed options. The AVI server is used by HDXchange to
take a stream of dv frames and write them to an avi file.
