Front bezel
A push-on front bezel covers the front of the server.
Cooling air is drawn in through the holes in the front bezel.
A filter, fitted to the rear of the bezel, filters the air and
captures dust. Air is expelled through the rear of the unit.
‘Light-pipes’ are integrated into the bezel to route the
status LED indications from the front panel behind the
front bezel to allow the user to view the status LEDs
without having to remove the bezel.

With the front bezel removed, the front panel controls,
indicators, remote serial connector, CD/DVD drive and 16
hot-swappable RAID hard disk drives (HDDs) are
exposed. See the following sections for control, LED, connector
descriptions.
