Select the first 2 HDDs (ports 0 and 1) by highlighting
the relevant drive and press the
spacebar .

Select Create Unit at the bottom of the screen.

In the Create Disk Array screen, name the first array
Array0.

Set RAID configuration as Mirror (RAID 1) .

Change StorSave Profile to Balanced and press OK

Repeat steps 7, 8, and 9 above for the remaining drives
to create eight different Mirrored (RAID 1) disk arrays
called:Array0, Array1, Array2, Array3, Array4,
Array5, Array6 and Array7. When complete, the
screen will show all eight disk arrays.

Press F8 to complete the process.

A screen is displayed to inform you that all existing
data on these disks will be overwritten. Type
Y to Save
and Exit.

Insert the Pc-Check utility CD and restart the server.

Set-up Pc-Check to run diagnostics on the server
hardware (see
“Pc-Check” on page 60 ).
