System power board (PN16-0101)
A System Power Board consolidates all power cables to
support backplane and hot-swappable system fans. It
distributes dc power to the Media RAID HDDs, OS RAID
HDDs and the DVD/CD drive. Power to OS RAID HDD
and to DVD/CD drive is supplied through the Slim Power
Distribution board (PN16-0103). The power to chassis fan
is supplied through the Fan Adapter board (PN16-0106). The System Power Board is equipped with system
management sensors such as fan failure signal, power
failure signal and over-temperature signal. The fan failure
signal triggers n audible beeper and LED blinking on the
LED switch board.
All data cables are bundled on the one side of the chassis
while all power cables are located on the other side to
avoid interference with the data performance.
Jumpers and indicators
DC_IN Power Input from Power Supply
This 24-pin jumper connector receives power from the
Power Supply.
MB_SIG Front Panel to Motherboard and System Fan
Feedback Header
This 16-pin jumper connector supplies power to the LED
switch board and
