Thus, it is very difficult, and even impossible, to define what is the narrowest
framework possible. Let’s take an example for a plantation at 4x4 metre with an Ø 6-
m umbrella (shorter than standard umbrella, with height of arms would be around
1,50 m).
In this example, the framework is very narrow. In some cases, it could be
possible to work, but being awarem of the following points:

The branches of two contiguous trees must not be in contact. Otherwise, the
vibration of the harvested arm will also affect the contiguous trees, which will
lower the working efficiency:

Vibration will be less efficient on the tree being harvested;
·
Worse, fruits of the contiguous trees will fall on the ground.
§
With a 4-metre separation, it is very likely to be problematic. To know what
can be done, it is important to know the width of wow. Depending on models,
we can propose some option to help ypu work in narrow framework.
