Rubber “trunk-closing” pieces are wearing parts. You will have to change them
when they have worn away.
It is important to always work with rubber
“trunk-closing” pieces in a
good state in order to harvest efficiently.
To replace them:
a) Unknot elastic ropes (C).
b) Remove the screws that fix the closing pieces.
c) Remove the worn rubber trunk-losing pieces and replace them with new
ones.
d) Elastic rope (C) has to be long enough in order to be able to fold back
the rubber trunk-closing pieces when the umbrella is folded.
e) To fix the floating pieces (B), drive the elastic rope through the holes
designed for thos purpose, and tie a knot above and below without
leaving too much slack.
