Hydraulic cylinders of the rack system will be under warranty only when they
leak oil or they have other defect, as long as they have not been misused.
It often happens that operators handle this kind of cylinders very quickly. So,
when going back from a tree, the driving arms get caught which causes a
deformation of the vertical axle of this cylinder, as well as a deterioration of the teeth
of the rack-system or of the cogwheel of the axle. This will not be considered under
warranty because it is not due to a manufacturing defect.
(**) HYDRAULIC OIL:
As for hydraulic oil, we will consider under warranty a maximum quantity of ten
litres for each intervention that could mean losing oil, because if you find out an oil
leak while working it will have to be fixed immediately. If there is a leak because a
pipe got broken, the quantity of 10 litres will be considered sufficient. So, if you ask
for more than 10 litres of hydraulic oil, the quantity that exceeds the 10 litres will be
invoiced.
D. HYDRAULIC COMPONENTS & PARTS EXCLUDED FROM WARRANTY.
Within the range of hydraulic elements, the following elements will not be
expressly covered by warranty: filters (except in case of manufacturing or assembling
defect); changing or adding oil (see previous points about it); and any element,
including the ones which are in the list of elements under warranty, whose problem is
due to a misuse, or to a handling and/or modification which has not been previously
approved by SOLANO Horizonte S.L.U.
