15.3. Head elevation:
This function makes very handy to change the canvas of the rubber arms of the
pincer, to clean the harvester from leaves and branches.
It is important to always work with rubber arm pieces pieces in a
good state (without crack nor damage).
If you see a rubber piece of the arm in a poor state, replace it at once
with a new one. Otherwise, it is likely to have negative effect on the
working efficiency, and also to damage trees and the machine.
Yon can order these parts to our dealer, who will advise the best
solutions for your machine.
In some plantations, the cross of trees (i.e. where the trunk divides
itself in main branches) is very low. Operators sometimes can, when
closing the pincer, have the arms of the pincer forcing too much and
get bent.
