28. UNCOUPLING THE MACHINE.
Once the harvesting campaign is over, you will have to unhitch the machine and
to store it. To do sor:
A) You must have prepared an area to store the
machine (see section about storing recommendations).
B) You will have to place the bracket of the hydraulic
central (see adjacent photo) well on the ground in this
area. Let the hydraulic central rest on it.
C) Once the machine lies on storing elements:
STOP THE TRACTOR AND REMOVE ITS CONTACT
KEYS FROM THE DASHBOARD.
D) Disconnect the PTO shaft.
E) Remove all the clamps that block the quick plugs of hydraulic pipes that go from
the front harvesting box to the rear hydraulic central, and disconnect the quick plugs
as well as the return pipe that is situated on the top part of the tank (by loosening its
clamp). The hydraulic central is ready to be uncoupledn from the tractor.
F) Disconnect the electrical plug of the radiator (ventilator) that is aimed at cooling oil.
G) Unplug the in-cab control box.
You must wear safety gloves and safety boots.
Maintainance operations are not free of hazards and accident risks.
It is very important to wrap in plastic bags all the tips, ends and plugs of
the hydraulic pipes as well as the quick plugs of the hydraulic central to
protect them against dust and humidity.
