11.2. Misalignment of the canvas of the umbrella.
A) The canvas is tight but it does not close well on the front part:
Secondary arms (radius) and fundamentally driving arms have slided down
and, as a result, the canvas is too tight. So the 2 driving arms cannot overlap
when you unflod the umbrella. In that case, open a bit the umbrella so that the
driving arms get separated from secondary arms. Then, you will have to push
the extremities of the arms upwards until the driving arms can overlap and the
canvas is adequately tight. We advise you to start with the upper secondary
arms: take the stop piece with rubber as a reference, push the arm upwards
but making sure that it can never be moved above the stop piece.
B) There remain some pockets on the canvas:
In that case, you will close the umbrella (i.e. in transport position), and you will
loosen the screws
(D) that stand on the extremity of the driving arms. After
that, you will use the in-cab control box to close the umbrella as far as
possible and then you will push them to stick them onto the harvester.
Eventually, tigthen strongly the screws
(D) (see photo under).
