WORM SCREWS. 

 

Harvesters are equipped with a worm screws system 

(A) 

(see under photo) to 

regulate  the  rhythm  that  peelers  are  fed  with  fruits  at.  They  are  driven  by  hydraulic 
engines  that  are  run  by  hydraulic  pumps  (see  previous  section  about  hydraulic 
components). 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 
 
 

 
It is important to check that worm screws are in proper conditions, and 
that they are not deteriorated (because of a big branch, a stone, etc.). 
 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When the harvester is working: 

 

NEVER GET CLOSE TO THE ENDLESS SCREWS NOR PUT ANY OBJECT 

INTO IT TO PUSH FRUITS!
