HARVESTERS

MANUAL OF INSTRUCTIONS

D) Hydraulic and electrical connections
.
Once you have hitched mechanically
the harvester on both the rear and front parts
to the tractor, you will wave to connect them
hydraulically.
This connection is made through a set
of long hydraulic pipes thick-enough, whose
length will depend on the tractor. Each pump
will have its own pipe to feed and run the
harvester according to its function, and all the
pumps will share the same overflow pipe.
These pipes are connected to the
hydraulic central through quick plugs
(A)
to
make connections quick and simple.
Except for regulation or maintanance
operations, hydraulic circuits are operated
from the in-cab electrical control box, whose
description you can see in its corresponding
section.
.
Hydraulic circuits are equipped with flow regulators or regulation screws
that help to regulate the working speed of the function(s) they control,
so that the set of functions of the harvester are operated can be run at
the right speed. Right speed means it is adequate to ensure the right
functioning og the machine and to preserve the safety of operators.
