The head is fixed on three points (see photo 12.01) for RD-75: two on the front
part with special chains (A) and through two mobile arms (B) that adapt themselves
to the position of the shaking head all the time; one elastic rubber bushing (C) . For
RD-90, there are two additional points (D): two elastic deflectors on the rear part.
These elements secure adequately the head, and make possible the movements that
it needs to adapt to the trunk and have the highest possible efficiency.
To make sure that your harvester will work and last as long as possible, take
into account the following recommendations:

Check that the main bolt (F) is always well tight.
§
Check that rubber bushings and elastic deflectores (only RD-90) are well tight
and are not cracked. If they are, replace them by a new one.
§
Make sure that all the articulations are well greased.
§
Make sure that rubber arms (H) and their rotection piece (G) are in a good
state.
§
Check regularly that the screws of the support of bearings, covers and the
other screwed pieces are well tightened.
On our heads, we have reached a good balance between efficiency and
dead weight.
When you have to replace a hydraulic engine, it is very important to do it
with the corresponding model. Never replace it with the same engine as
mounted on the opposite side.
OTHERWISE, IT WOULD ALTER NEGATIVELY THE VIBRATION AND
WOULD REDUCE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE HARVESTER.
