We recommend adjusting Auto False Echo Suppression parameters with an empty or
almost empty vessel.
This application is to obtain a level measurement and corresponding 4 to 20 mA output
proportional to the sludge level on a digester.

The raised position is for installation and maintenance.

The lowered position is for operation.
●
Program the instrument for operation in the lowered position.
●
Low Cal. Pt. is the bottom of the digester (10 m/33 ft from sensor reference point when
the instrument is lowered to its normal operating position).
●
High Cal.Pt. is 2 m (6.56 ft) from sensor reference point.
●
The maximum rate of filling or emptying is about 0.1 m (4")/min.
