Remote reset via terminal RST
The reset can be alternatively carried out using a remote reset signal. The non-isolated 24 V
input (referred to terminal "0V" of the device) at terminal "RST" can be used. A reset is
carried out for an input level of > 15 V for at least 100 ms.
Procedure

Connect a voltage of > 15 V for at least 100 ms to terminal "RST".
The reset is carried out.
Note
If a switch-on delay of the outputs is defined when switching on, then this is not taken into
account for a reset initiated using a remote reset signal (function only available when using a
CNX8600 expansion module).
Note
The rising edge of the reset signal is evaluated. This means for an additional reset signal,
the voltage level must first drop down to below 13 V.
