Slots for the MCI-PN board
Possible slots
The slot for the MCI-PN board is determined by the SIMOTION P350-3 equipment.

If the MCI-PN board is being used as an option together with the IsoPROFIBUS board,
the modules are plugged in as follows:
–
IsoPROFIBUS always in slot 1
–
MCI-PN-Board in slot 2 (directly above the motherboard)

In the case of a PROFINET-only solution, the MCI-PN board is always connected to
slot 1.
The above slot rules are fixed and must always be observed. If you do not follow the slot
rules, real-time capability problems (latency) can occur in SIMOTION P350-3.
