4.6 Mounting and dismantling BaseUnits for motor starters

Disassembling the BaseUnit

WARNING

Hazardous Voltage
Hazardous electrical voltage can cause electric shock, burns and property damage.
Disconnect your system and devices from the power supply before starting any assembly

tasks.

To disassemble the BaseUnit, proceed as follows:
1.

Disconnect the main power supply and the control current supply of the SIMATIC ET

200SP motor starter.

2.

Actuate the DIN rail release on the BaseUnit of the motor starter.

3.

Move the BaseUnit to the left. As soon as there is a clearance of approximately 8 mm to

the neighboring BaseUnits, you can disassemble the BaseUnit of the motor starter.

4.

Swing the BaseUnit away from the DIN rail while pressing the DIN rail release.
