Behavior of the ATC6300 after inserting a module
As soon as the power supply is connected to the ATC6300, it automatically detects a new
expansion module.
If the system configuration deviates from the last configuration stored (if, for example, a
module has been inserted or removed), the ATC6300 prompts the user to confirm the new
configuration.
After confirmation the ATC6300 will restart. After this, the module can be parameterized.
If the change is not accepted a reference is made to the change every time it starts up.
Note
Addressing the modules
When subsequently removing an expansion module, attention must be paid to the
addressing of the module.
The following message is displayed if a new configuration has been detected:
The current system configuration is displayed on the corresponding display page (Expansion
Modules), stating the number, type and status of the connected modules:
●
The I/O numbering is shown under each module.
●
The status (activated / deactivated) of the I/O and of the communication channels is
indicated by the message displayed in negative.
