Configuring the internal sensors
Every TDC device has internal sensors which, for example, provide information about the
temperature or the voltage supply of the TDC device. This information can – in the same
way as external sensor data - be transmitted to the cloud server using corresponding
telemetry elements. This can be useful for identifying the potential risk of the TDC device
overheating at an early stage, for example.
The internal sensors are configured in the same way as the external device interfaces.
1. Mark the option
Internal
under the
Telemetry Elements
tab.
2. Click on
Add
to create a new telemetry element.
The following figure shows the settings for transmitting temperature values. In the
example, the temperature value is transmitted as a numeric value with Celsius as the unit
every 10 ms.
