Dashboards have the following structure:
•
All of the telemetry elements to be monitored and analyzed on the dashboard will later
appear on the left-hand side.
•
The content to be monitored in individual widgets is specified on the right-hand side.

Defining the structure for displaying telemetry elements on the dashboard
You can choose how telemetry elements are displayed by creating a tree structure using
what are known as
units
.
Getting started
1. Switch back to the home page of the management system. To do this, click on
TDC
Management System
in the menu bar.
2. In the
Units
section, click on
New Unit
. All TDC devices with the telemetry elements
configured in
TDC Configurator
are shown in a list. In the following example, only one
TDC device has been registered on the TDC Management System.
Defining the structure
On the left-hand side of the window, define the structure for listing the telemetry elements
on the dashboard.
1. Click on the icon with the three dots to select
Add Unit
to add another level underneath
the Root level.
2. Enter a meaningful name for the level (e.g., the name of the TDC device).
