7.1
Setting up a customer account for the SICK online portal
Before you can log in and use the SICK online portal, you will first need to register with
SICK. Registration follows several steps:

1. Apply for a new customer account. When registering, you will need to name one of the
TDC devices you have procured along with company and user details.
You will receive a confirmation e-mail immediately informing you that the account will
be created within 24 hours.
2. You will receive another confirmation e-mail once your customer account has been set
up on the SICK page. This also contains your login details for the new customer
account.
3. When you log in to the SICK online portal for the first time, you will need to register all
of the TDC devices you have procured.

Applying for a customer account
The first step is to apply for a new customer account on the SICK online portal.

1. To start the registration process, enter the following URL into your browser:
http://tdc.sick.com
The login window will open.
