Replacing the TDC device
A defective TDC device must be replaced immediately.
The replacement device is configured by importing the settings for the previous device.
These will have been saved as an *.xls file on the configuration PC (for further information
on this, please also refer to Chapter
6.5.5 Saving the configuration on the PC
You can order the devices under the following part numbers:

Detaching the connecting cables
1. Loosen all plug or clamp connectors and remove the connecting cables from the
device.
2. Remove the GPS antenna (only TDC-B100/TDC-B200).

Take note of which cables are assigned to which connectors before you remove the
controller.
Replacing the device
1. Remove the defective device.
2. Install the replacement device as described in Chapter
Connecting a replacement device
Reconnect all cables as described in Chapter
Importing configuration
1. Connect the configuration PC to the replacement device using the configuration cable
(for further information on this, refer also to Chapter
6.3.1 Establishing a connection
2. Launch the configuration software and log in to
TDC Configurator

connection to the connected TDC device via the corresponding COM port (for further
information on this, refer also to Chapter
6.4.2 Establishing a connection to the TDC
3. Apply the settings from the configuration file for the previous device to the replacement
device using
