Remove all packing materials from the inside of
the oven cavity. Discard the loose polythene sheet
fro m between the do o r and cavity. Remo ve the
feature sticker, if attached, from the
outside
of
the door.

Check the oven carefully for any signs of damage.

Place the o ven o n a flat, level surface stro ng
eno ug h to suppo rt the o ven’s weig ht plus the
heaviest item likely to be cooked.

Ensure there is a minimum free space abo ve the
o ven o f 1 5 cm:

Securely connect the plug of the oven to a standard
earthed (grounded) household electrical outlet.

Your oven has 5 power levels. To choose the power level
for cooking, follow the advice given in the recipe section.
Generally the following recommendations apply:

used fo r fast co o king o r reheating e.g. so up,
cassero les, canned fo o d, ho t beverages, vegetables,
fish, etc.
5 6 0 W
used for longer cooking of dense foods such as
ro a st jo ints, me a t lo a f a nd pla te d me a ls, a lso fo r
sensitive dishes suc h a s c heese sa uc e a nd spo ng e
cakes. At this reduced setting, the sauce will no t bo il
over and food will cook evenly without over cooking at
the sides.
4 0 0 W
fo r dense fo o ds which require a lo ng co o king
time when co o ked co nventio nally, eg. beef dishes, it is
advisable to use this po wer setting to ensure the meat
will be tender.
2 4 0 W
to defro st, select this po wer setting, to ensure
that the dish defro sts evenly. This setting is also ideal
fo r simmering rice, pasta, dumplings and co o king egg
custard.
