Operation/display
[PRINT]:
If the entered value is valid, the current setting is updated. (The input field
remains at the same position.)
If the entered value is not valid, the input field is cleared and the error
buzzer sounds.
If any value is not entered, the copier exits the simulation mode and starts
warming up. After warming up, the copier becomes the copy ready state,
making it possible to make copies.
[0-9]:
Enters new settings. (The setting is displayed on the COPIES SELECTED
display.)
[
→
]:
Moves the input field.
[C]:
Clears the input field.
[PAUSE]:
No setting is made and the sub code input screen is displayed.
To clear the image leading edge position adjustment mode:
1. Turn ON the [CA] key, or
2. Turn ON/OFF the main switch (on the left-side of the copier), or
3. Enter the simulation mode and press the [CA] key to exit the simulation mode, or
4. Press the [PAUSE] key without entering any setting, to change the screen to the sub code
input screen.

[Content] The leading edge position of the image can be adjusted.
If the [PRINT] key is pressed after entering a sub code, the copier exits the
simulation mode and starts warming up. After warming up, the copier becomes the
copy ready state. At this time, the leading edge setting of the image is displayed
on the multiple display. However, if the warming up action is finished by another
sub code, the shading/process control is omitted.
Make a 400% copy. Call the distance from the leading edge of the image to the
10-mm position on the scale as L1 [mm] and the distance from the leading edge of
the paper to the leading edge of the image as L2 [mm]. Measure the displacement
at the leading edge in units of 0.1 mm and enter the value with the numeric
keypad. If the [PRINT] key is pressed, the leading edge adjustment value is set.
The current trailing edge void setting is displayed on the multiple display unit. The
setting can be changed with the numeric keypad. If the [PRINT] key is pressed
after entering a new setting, copies can be made. However, the multiple copy
function is not available. You can move from one item to another with the [
→
] key.
If the SIM50-2 is executed again, the previously entered value is displayed. It is
possible to perform the leading edge position adjustment by setting “L1” and “L2”
for 0.
