5.2 Maintenance and lubrication
Always prior to the service and repair work the
hoist must be withdrawn from the use. Switch off
the disconnecting switch in the ground station
control center and lock it.
In case there are more than one person working
on the hoist, always be aware what your fellow
worker is doing.
In case the service work is done underneath the
hoist cage, fix the safety clamps on top of the drive
unit and switch off the disconnecting switch be-
fore going under the cage.
The maintenance and lubrication intervals are defined for the use of the hoist
in one working shift. Should the hoist be used in more than one shift, these in-
tervals have to be made correspondingly shorter.
