8-2-75. Floating switch detection of the indoor unit drain pump

Judgment method

Causes

- Refer to the below judge method

- The rising water level of drain plate due to the defect of drain pump of indoor unit or

- Detection sensor defect

For the release of E153 error, the power of indoor unit should be reset.

Is the cassette type indoor unit

occurred error?

Is there large water in the

drain plate?

Reset the power of indoor unit and check

if the drain pump is operated.

Does the drain pump operate?

Is the water level of drain

plate down?

Replace the drain pump.

Normal operation

Refer to the 245 page drain pump(Option) for

solving the trouble.

Reassemble the float switch connecter and

reset the power of indoor/outdoor unit.

Replace the indoor unit PCB.

Replace the drain pump.

Replace the indoor unit PCB.

Normal operation

Replace the float switch and reset the

power of indoor unit because it is the

defect of float switch.

Is the terminal voltage of drain

pump PCB about AC220V?

Is the same error occurred again?

Is the value of

resistance of both terminals

∞

which measured after

disconnecting the connecter of float

switch connected with indoor

unit PCB ?
