9.2.1 | edit selected preset: General Presets
After pressing
Edit selected preset
and selecting the
general Presets
tab, the
general Preset Settings
menu page is shown.
• Close
This button closes the menu page and prompts to save
the preset to one of the user presets (
u 1
to
u 7
). Also,
an individual name for the preset can be entered (up to 6
characters) using the
change name
button.
• Use Local Routing Settings
The status of this checkbox decides whether the routing
of the
local
instrument settings stored in the individual
user preset or the
global
settings of the unit are used
when loading this preset.
• With this option enabled , all routing settings made
on the
local Routing Settings
menu page (
local
Input/Output Routing and Instrument Settings
menu tab) are used when the edited preset is loaded.
• With this option disabled , these local settings are
NOT used when the edited preset is loaded. The
global
routing settings made on the
Global Routing
Settings
menu page (
Input/Output Routing
menu
tab) and its sub menus are used instead. See chapter
Local vs. Global Settings
for further explanation of
local and global settings.
note -
As the Sub Presets are part of the routing
settings, this option also defines whether the
local
or the
global
set of Sub Presets is used with a certain user pre-
set (see chapter Sub Presets ).
