SurroundMonitor 11900 Series

This button/key moves the cursor to the left or
displays the previous menu page.

This button/key moves the cursor to the right or
displays the next menu page.

This button shifts the focus to the next dialog
element. Inside dialog boxes, it moves to the next
selection.

Ù
This button shifts the focus to the previous dialog
element. Inside dialog boxes, it moves back to
the previous selection.
•
Sel
(ect) This button confirms the dialog element highligh-
ted with the cursor keys (e. g. the element that
currently has the focus) or changes its status by
selecting or deselecting it.
The menu topics are organized in pages accessed by selecting the according tabs in the top area of the screen. Tabs that are
not displayed can be accessed by using the two cursor buttons
<
or
>
or the two cursor buttons on the top right.
From any sub menu window, the
close
button is used to get back to the top level. Any changes are retained temporarily and can
then be saved by selecting
Save
or
Save & Exit
.
In most cases, the easiest way to navigate the menu will be using a mouse connected to the USB A port of the main unit. Alter-
natively, the cursor buttons on the control panel of the 11900 series or on the optional Remote Display 30010 can be used as
well:

Abort
(Button/key 7)

When used on one of the menu pages for the
global
settings
, pressing
Abort
discards any changes made
in one of the menus, leaving the menu system without
saving and returning to normal display mode.

When used on one of the menu pages for the
local
instrument settings
, pressing
Abort
discards any
changes made in one of these menus, leaving the
local instrument settings menu pages and returning
to the
instruments Settings
main menu page. After
pressing
Abort
again, all changes made in any of the
menus are discarded, leaving the menu system and
returning to normal display mode.
After opening the menu, the Toolbar remains visible in the bottom area of the screen. Among others, it can be used to leave the
menu at any time using the following options:

Save
(Button/key 5)
Saves the current status settings with all changes made in
the menu system without leaving the current page
•
Save & Exit
(Button/key 6)
Saves the current status with all changes made and re-
turns to normal display mode
