8.10.1 | Functions of the sDI sTATUs instrument
• Next Channel and Previous Channel
(Buttons/keys 1 and 2)
These functions switch through the available input chan-
nels so that you can display and analyze the channel infor-
mation with the instrument.
• Ch Status (Channel Status)
(Button/key 3 – toggle function linked to
Binary
)
This function switches the status information display to
decoded plain text (Decoded Channel Status). The infor-
mation displayed includes the origin and destination of
the data (Origin, Destination), the CS block address (Local
Adr.) and the block number (Time-Day). If no digital input
signal is connected the message „Channel data not availa-
ble“ is displayed.
This function is displayed when you select the
Sdi Status
instrument.
• Binary
(Button/key 4 – toggle function linked to
ch Status
)
Selecting this function activates the hex and binary display
of channel status bytes 0 – 23 of the selected channel. If
no digital input signal is connected the message „Channel
data not available“ is displayed.
• Audio
(Button/key 5)
Selecting this function activates the audio display of the
active audio bits registered for the digital inputs. When
pressing the button/key again the bit pattern of the cur-
rent audio data is displayed.
