Right-clicking in an instrument window with a mouse switches
from normal display mode to the menu system showing the
settings of the current preset. If this is a factory preset you will
be prompted to save any changes in one of the 7 user presets
when exiting the instrument menu. Otherwise, any changes will
be lost.
9.2 | instrument Settings: The instrument Settings Menu
After selecting the
instruments Settings
tab, the
instruments Settings
menu page is shown.
This menu page is used to load a new preset (
use Preset
combo box shows the currently selected preset) or to change
the settings of the current preset (
Edit selected preset
). An
instrument setting stores the parameters for all available ins-
truments in a single preset. There are 7 user presets (
u 1
to
u 7
) that can be modified by the user and 7 read-only factory
presets (
F 8
to
F 14
) available. For details see chapters

• Use Preset
To load a new preset, please select it from the combo box
and return to normal display mode using the
Save & Exit
button.
• Edit selected preset
Click the
Edit selected preset
button to edit the selected
preset. The new menu page displayed has four menu tabs:
general Presets , Local Input/Output Routing and
instrument Settings
,
Vectorscope
,
RTa
. Any changes
made here are stored to a user preset after leaving this
section with
Save
or
Save & Exit
. Leaving the menu sec-
tion with Abort will discard all edits.
