Tighten the bolts to specified torque.

First install O ring bypass into Crankcase
boss and assemble oil bypass pipe.

Tighten 2 Nos. Pan head screw (M6x12)
(a) to specified torque.
7. Oil Strainer

Ensure O-ring is located properly.

Install oil strainer (a) into lower crankcase
oil gallery and tighten with Qty. 2 Nos.
flanged hex bolts (M6x1x30).
8 mm Socket
with Ratchet &
Torque wrench
Torque 12 Nm /
1.2 kgf-m

Locate oil pan gasket (a) on crankcase
and assemble oil pan (b) tighten the bolts
as per sequence shown in photo.
NOTE

Clean crank case lower sump and sump
cover area and inspect for any cracks or
damages.

Replace defective parts. Do not repair or
use welding to fix damages.

Check cover warpage if necessary.
Apply Loctite 542 All Round 360
o
in 1st Three Threads as shown.
