SEALANT LOCATION & APPLICATION
CRANKCASE BOX CLOSING JOINT FACE
Crankcase Lower
Apply Loctite 5904 in marked joint areas
MAGNETO EFI GROMMET LOCATION
Apply Loctite superflex 24 in grommet seating face
CYLINDER HEAD COVER RUBBER GASKET
Apply SCRD 1015 in cam Bore rubber bead
NOTE
1. Before applying the sealant in joint face should be free from
moisture, oil and other foreign particles.
2. Superflex 24 Curing time is 2 Min (for sub assembly leak testing).
NOTE

2. Cylinder head cover to be assembled within 5 min ffrom dispensing
of sealant.

MAGNETO COVER T JOINT AREA
Apply SCRD 1015
NOTE
1. Before applying the sealant in joint face, ensure joint face should be free from oil and
moisture. (Emery paper & Oil stone should not be used in joint face to clean).
2. Sealant to be applied minimum 10mm on both upper & lower of ‘T’ joint face.
3. Side covers to be assembled with in 5 min from dispensing of sealant.
