Check wheel bearing axial play Ref. image A.

Check wheel bearing Noise.

Check wheel wobbling.
INSPECTION

Check and replace
spacer if it has excess
wear.

Inspect and replace
toner wheel plate if
there are any damages
or bend.

Check noise and play on
bearing LH and RH.

Inspect front brake disc
plate thickness and run
out. Replace, if it is out
of specification.
Maxi. runout 0.15mm.
Min. thickness 4.5mm.

Check wheel hub
assembly for any cracks
or damages and replace
if necessary.

Check and replace
wheel hub bearing
seated portion if there
is any scoring.

Inspect wheel rim for
run out.

If required adjust /
wheel truving.
STEERING SYSTEM
DETAILS
To maintain the vehicle specification dimension of
wheelbase, trail, caster angle and headlight position.
It’s necessary to control the dimension between the
front suspension and steering stem, and steering stem
to headlight mounting bracket when installing them
into the front suspension.
