Fastener, Size, Tool Usage, Precautions, Photos Aggregate to Assemble Instructions

Assemble cam chain (a) on timing
sprocket and locate camshaft (b) into
sprocket from the RH side.

Ensure the reference mark “L” in the
camshaft is aligned to the cylinder head
on LH side.

Locate and tighten flanged Hex bolt
(M8x1x16) (a) into camshaft. DO NOT
TIGHTEN FULLY.

Rotate magneto (a) till another hex head
bolt on cam chain sprocket is at top most
position. Ensure reference mark “R”
aligned to the cylinder head.
12 mm Socket
with Tommy
bar.
17 mm Socket
with Ratchet

Locate special tool (a) on camshaft RH.
Ensure it is properly seated on cylinder
head.

Part No: ST-30260/A
Chamfered face outwards
Note
Please ensure
