4. Rotate both levers of the ITB cleaning unit clockwise to retract the cleaning blades
from the ITB.
5. Close both front doors.
6. Turn the main power switch ON and enter the SP mode.
7. Open both front doors.
8. Select SP2-920-001 (Steering Control Roller- Initialize Belt Position)
9. Press the “Execute” button
10. Close both front doors.
11. When you see "Completed" displayed on the operation panel, turn the main power
switch OFF.
12. Pull out the ITB unit. ( ITB Unit )
13. Evenly apply the lubricant to the intermediate transfer belt [A].
14. Turning the spindle of the ITB drive motor by hand to move the belt, repeat Step 12
until you have applied lubricant to the entire belt.
Do not touch the belt with your bare hands.
[A]: Minimum lubrication
[B]: Maximum lubrication
15. Reattach the ITB unit.
16. Pull out the ITB cleaning unit.
