Adjustment B: For White Undercoat Jobs – K and White swapped
B-1. Create a custom paper entry for the paper in use.

From the list of “Print Special Toner First_Color_Wt.1-8” create an entry
according to the weight of the paper. If the paper already exists in the Paper
Library, use that entry.
B-2. Set the image transfer current (drum-to-belt bias) of cyan, magenta, yellow and white
to “0” in the following Advanced Settings, then check the print quality.

If acceptable, stop the procedure. If unacceptable, set the value to “-5” and
check the results.
Note: Make sure to enter the values for all four colors.

If the results still unsatisfactory, continue the procedure.

If the paper weight is 1 or 2, skip Step B-3 and B-4, and go to Step B-5.
B-3. Set the paper transfer current (belt-to-paper PTR AC bias) to “0” in the following
Advanced Settings according to the print mode; simplex or duplex, BW or FC or FCS
or S, and check the print quality.

If acceptable, stop the procedure. If unacceptable, continue.
