Installation
• The machine must be connected to a power source that is nearby and easily
accessible.
• Make sure that the main power switch and AC power switch are turned to OFF, and
that the power cord is disconnected before performing the following procedure.
Prepare developers as necessary. Make sure that you bring it along with you to the customer
site.
• Developer Clear
• Developer White
• Developer Neon Pink
• Developer Neon Yellow
• Developer Invisible Red
Color identification decals other than those for the white and clear colors must be supplied by
a service technician.
1.
Turn the main power ON.
2.
Log in as the machine administrator.
3.
Access the Adjustment Settings for Operators menu.
4.
Press [Machine: Maintenance] > [0516: Change Special Toner].
• Do not press [Set] yet. That is done in Step 7.
5.
Open the toner bank door. Remove the special toner bottle currently being used.
• Pull out the toner bottle as it is. Unlike with CMYK bottles, you do not have to
open the bottle cap in the SP mode.
6.
Attach the 5th station toner cartridge replacement tool [A] provided with this option, and
then close the toner bank door.
