Adjustment A: For Textured Paper
A-1. Create a custom paper entry for the paper in use.

From the list of “Plain_Textured_Wt.1-8” create an entry according to the weight
of the paper. If the paper already exists in the Paper Library, use that entry.

If the paper weight is 1 or 2, skip Steps A-2 and A-3, and go to Step A-4.

For black or color paper, make the following settings in Advanced Settings:

A-2. Set the paper transfer current (belt-to-paper PTR AC bias) to “0” in the following
Advanced Settings according to the print mode; simplex or duplex, BW or FC or FCS
or S, then check the print quality.

If acceptable, stop the procedure. If unacceptable, continue.
