List of pipette parameters:

Name: press “Name” field, a window for entering pipette’s name opens.
•
Code: enter pipette’s code;
•
Model: enter pipette’s type;
•
Tip: enter tip’s name;
•
Type of volume: ADJUSTABLE / FIXED;
•
Nominal volume: nominal volume value;
•
Minimum volume: minimum volume value, for fixed volume pipette enter <0>;
•
Number of channels: specify number of pipette’s channels, for a single channel pipette enter
<1>;
•
Type: NONE/A/D1/D2. Pipette type adheres to standard guidelines. Since error values depend
on pipette’s type it is necessary to set the type if calibration process is to comply with ISO 8655
standard.

Tested volumes: press “Tested volumes” field, a window with a list of calibrated volumes opens
(in case of a new pipette, the list is empty), add volume to be tested, and define error value for
each tested volume:
Procedure:

Press <
Add > button.
•
A window with an on-screen numeric keyboard is displayed.
•
Enter tested volume in [µl] and press <
> button for confirmation.
•
A new record is automatically added, the record features recommended error values.
In order to change error values press a field with pipette volume (each field can be edited,
you can enter error values of your choice).
Caution:
While in calibration process, the order of tested volumes corresponds to the order in which they
are entered.

On setting correct values return to the main window.
24.4. PRINTOUTS
Printouts option has been designed to enable you to determine content of particular standard
printouts and to define non-standard printout.
Standard Printout
Standard printout comprises four internal blocks, each
featuring different variables. Each variable can be attributed
with parameter YES – i.e. printed, or NO – i.e. not printed.
Settings for header printout, weighing printout, and footer
printout are specified in section 14.5; settings for Pipettes
Calibration report are presented below.
