Install the density determination kit, and enter sinker’s volume to balance’s memory.

Press <
Liquid density> button, a respective menu is displayed, using it press <
Sinker’s volume> button and enter sinker’s volume value, take it from the sinker’s hanger.

Liquid density determining begins.
Procedure:
1. Install the density determination kit.
2. In order to record density value for a particular product in products database, go to <Settings>
menu, set <Assign density to product> parameter and press <Product> quick access key to
make the product active.
3. Press <
START > button, follow the prompts.
4. Carry out measurement in the air, wait for a stable measurement result and press <
>
button.
5. Carry out measurement in the tested liquid, wait for a stable measurement result and press
<
> button.
6. Density result is displayed.
7. Press <
> button to finish the procedure.
CAUTION!
Pressing <
> key starts another density determining process with the same settings.
20.5. AIR DENSITY
<
> Air density value is required for calculation of correction of measurement result related to air
BUOYANCY compensation. Another value required for the calculation is weighed sample density.
The function of air density determining is enabled only in balances with reading unit lower than
d=1mg.
Determining density of air requires using a dedicated set of mass standards (additional equipment),
specific for a balance model.
Procedure:
1. Press <
Air density > button.
2. Options related to Air density mode are displayed.
