CAUTION!
Using LEFT MOTION or RIGHT MOTION, it is necessary to remember that <Proximity sensors delay>
parameter must be set to value 500 ms!
To each of the motions you can assign one of the available options: [None; Profile; Adjustment;
Zeroing; Taring; Tare setting; Tare switch off; Reset tare; Packaging; Print; Header printing; Footer
printing; Unit; Universal Variable 1; Universal Variable 2; Universal Variable 3; Universal Variable 4;
Universal Variable 5; Confirm; Abort; User; Left door; Right door; Open/Close door; Parameters;
Product, Warehouse; Customer].
The selected option is recognized by the software and performed when activated by a particular
motion.
In order to ensure correct operation it is necessary remember to set the right sensors sensitivity and
the right value for proximity sensors delay (for more information go to section 34 of this user manual).
14.3.2. Automatically Opened Door
Automatically Opened Door submenu comprises settings on automatic opening and closing door
of a balance featuring such mechanism, i.e. MYA 4Y and XA 4Y.A series balances. The settings
may refer to the quick access keys as well as the infrared proximity sensors located on the
overlay of balance’s terminal.
MYA 4Y series balance settings:
•
Left door – the option enables changing the position of the door to the left side of the
weighing chamber
•
Right door - the option enables changing the position of the door to the right side of the
weighing chamber
•
Open / Close door / the option enables changing the position of the door, e.g. if the
weighing chamber is opened, then activating the option causes closing it. If the weighing
chamber is closed, then activating the option causes opening the door of the weighing
chamber.
XA 4Y.A series balance settings:
•
Open / the option enables opening the door of the weighing chamber
•
Close / the option enables closing the door of the weighing chamber
•
Open / Close door / the option enables changing the position of the door, e.g. if the
weighing chamber is opened, then activating the option causes closing it. If the weighing
chamber is closed, then activating the option causes opening the door of the weighing
chamber.
Instruction on switching from manual to automatic door operation in XA 4Y.A series balance:
1. When operating in manual mode turn the door knob 180
o
either left or right
2. Using your hands slide the door, both left and right, from the front to back thus making
them couple the mechanism.
Door coupling is easy to be sensed (the pawls get engaged with the notch).
To return to manual operation, turn the knob to its previous position.
14.4. INFORMATION
Information on weighing process is displayed in the grey
workspace. It can contain up to 6 data. If larger amount
of data is selected, then only the first 6 are displayed.
Each parameter features two options:
- YES, information enabled (displayed in the
workspace).
- NO, information disabled.
